Valencia, Spain – Alba Robledo, a 20-year-old female biotech student from Spain has recently released a new educational mobile application available for Androids. This application, called “Microscope Parts 3D Model” allows users to study the different parts of a microscope in a fun and interactive way. This app is family-friendly and comes at a perfect time, as many schools are on lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, preventing many students from experiencing and learning about microscopes in person and firsthand.

The idea to create this app came to Alba during the pandemic. Because she was unable to physically go into the lab herself, she immediately saw the need for this kind of application. Alba realized that an interactive 3D application that could teach young students the different parts of a microscope could be a fun and effective way of remotely teaching younger students.

When you download “Microscope Parts 3D Model you will find a highly detailed 3D model of a microscope. You can rotate, pan, and zoom in to explore all of the microscope’s features and learn its parts. By clicking on the specially designed interactive pins, you will receive an explanation of each part, its purpose, and how it works. For example, by clicking on the microscope’s nose piece, not only will you learn the location of that part, but you will also learn that “the nose piece, or turret, contains the objective lenses. Microscope users can rotate this part to switch between the objective lenses and adjust the magnification power.” “Microscope Parts 3D Model” is available in both English and Spanish. Take your science skills and education to the next level by downloading this mobile app today.

Alba has plans to create other education apps in the future. To download “Microscope Parts 3D Model,” please click here.
