The “Honorary Worker of the Brewing Industry” badge was awarded to Galina Aleksandrovna Avidonova, the head of the Grainrus malt production.

In honor of the Day of Brewer, the Union of Russian Brewers awarded more than 100 experts. The awarding of 14 of them, including Galina Avidonova, was organized in May as part of the XXXII International Forum BEER 2023, in which the Grainrus team participates regularly. The awards were handed out by the chairman of the Union of Russian Brewers at one of the events within the business program of the Union.

For more than 10 years, Galina Aleksandrovna Avidonova has been the permanent head of the Grainrus Group malt production. In 2012, under her leadership and direct involvement, the Kursk Malt brand was created; and in 2020, the production of rye malt was launched in the city of Rybinsk (Yaroslavl Region). Also, thanks to her, the volume of barley malt production was multiplied, and new lines of malts were launched, including those unique for Russia, such as buckwheat and oat malts.

In 2022, Galina Avidonova was awarded the national certificate “Manager of the Year 2022”. Under her leadership, Organic Food LLC malt house in Rybinsk was named the “Industry Leader” by the All-Russian Business Rating. This award has been given to the best Russian enterprises since 2006, which is indicative of the company’s leading position in the domestic market in its core business area of “Malt Production” (OKVED “11.06).

The Kursk Malt branded products have been winning prizes in Russian and international industry competitions: “Quality Guarantee 2021” of the Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems n. a. V.M. Gorbatov of the Russian Academy of Sciences, “All-Russian Brand. XXI Century”, and others.
